The Road to Here

Well, it has been a good long while since I last updated. Life has been busy, like a Pacific West Line Metra, it just flies by. I have been in a month long intensive Biblical Greek class, 8-12:00 everday, with a minimum of 5 hours of homework. It's been brutal but rewarding, and I pray that someday it will bear fruit for God's kingdom.

Also, Megan and I have been in communication and began (tenatively) to move forward with a missionary organization called TEAM (www.teamworld.org). We are still in the early stages but we like the process they have for new recruits, we will see.

Megan's parents are coming to visit this weekend, should be a good time although Grant is bringing his bike and once to humiliate me in front of my wife. As of now I will be racing my 49.00 Target special, the breaks are bad but I can make that puppy purr when need be.

I am discipling a guy at our church that is home for the summer, that has been massively rewarding and I love to speak into young men's lives and push them toward life in Jesus. To no ones  suprise we are using Wild At Heart, that's right, I still believe in the essential Eldridge.

I have been writing some poetry again.

Too thin girl

Long finger marble knuckles

Not enough skin sewed over bones

The mirror has been a liar for so long

But no one knows, no one even sees her.

She is invisible like wind

Her father forgot her name long ago

Her mother is dripping in denial

She is a skeleton with a heart that is famined and dried up

Like an African disaster.

Using Eldredge to mold the minds of impressionable young men is a bad idea. I am quite disappointed, Mr. Lemaster, as I had been told you were an intelligent man with solid theology. Perhaps you might be persuaded, at the advice of your local CPA, to put down the blasphemy and pick up "Desiring God" by my good friend Mr. J. Piper.

Numerically speaking,
Mrs. Breschaff

Mrs. Breschaff, I kindly correct the spelling you did of our last name. It's LeMaster, not Lemaster
